Junior Geologist / Field Assistant

Hello I’m looking for a junior geologist or field assistant role. I have spent the previous 2+ years working as a geologist and geotech engineer. I have recent gold exploration experience in the Pilbara, and lithium experience after completing my MSc thesis at Greenbushes with Talison Lithium. I graduated from the Camborne School of Mines with a MSc Mining Geology degree in 2014. Prior, I completed a BSc Geology degree at the University of Liverpool in 2013. I have vocational work experience relating to: Sampling, mapping, logging RQD, metre marking, photography, core cutting Working in open pit, underground and exploration projects Working with Health & Safety as a priority Data entry and attention-to-detail Surpac, Datamine & GIS experience Implementing QA/QC and codes of best practice Time and project management skills Passing medical exams and drugs & alcohol screenings Police clearance and a clean drivers license Having a sense of humour and interpersonal skills I am based in Scarborough and I am available immediately.
